Kiran Mayi has about 15 years of experience as henna artist. Since childhood she excelled in various art forms: her artistic skills varied from painting (fabric, ceramic and canvas), Indian embroidery and Indian Classical dance.

She mastered henna art by decorating her friends and family members. Her free hand drawing ability enables her to deliver designs upon impromptu requests. Scale and symmetry are distinctive features of her designs particularly when space presents a challenge. She is specialized in bridal henna designs and won awards in various Henna Art competitions held both in India and in United States. She participated in various festivals in United States that raised charities besides fee based engagements.
